We find children being born in Tennessee, Alabama and NC They left Tennessee in 1819 lived in Alabama until 1827 when they returned to Rockingham Co. N.C. John M., their son, married twice to Ann Dillard d/o James and Lucy and 2) Frances Dillard. At this time, no relationship between the two wives can be found. John M. Pryor lived near the town of Draper, where he died 5 Oct 1858. He was buried in the family graveyard, alongside his wife Prudence.
