John T. Neal was born 20 Mar 1838 and died 25 Jun 1864. He married Lucy A. Howard on 11 Dec 1859 in Caswell Co., NC. Lucy was born in 1835 and died 25 Aug 1862 when her 2nd child was born. The children of John and Lucy are Mary Susan Neal (17 Nov 1861 - 05 Jul 1935) and William Howard Neal (21 Aug 1862 - 28 Sep 1923). Mary Susan Neal married John B. Powell in Caswell Co. on 29 Apr 1878. He was the son of M. J. Powell and Susan. Susan Neal Powell is buried in Shady Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. William Howard Neal married Alma W. Hodges in Caswell Co. on 23 Feb 1898. She was the daughter of J. T Hodges and Mattie. Wm. H. Neal is buried in Moon Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. 1989- Joseph Judson was fifteen years of age when the family removed from
Old England, and removed to Stratford with them, and was married to
Sarah Porter of Windsor, he being twenty-five and his wife eighteen at the
time of their marriage. Joseph Judson was a member of the Connecticut
Assembly and held numberous other positions of trust and honor.
Stratford remained the family home until after the American Revolution,
when Nathanial Judson, who had spent much time in the Continental Army
settled after that war at Newton, Connecticut.

Our subject remarried, Miss Annie Graham
becoming his wife August 20, 1871. Mrs. Hitchcock is a native of Preble
county, Ohio, and was born in 1847. Her grandfather, James Graham, was
a native of Virginia. Her father, Joseph Graham, was a harness maker by
occupation, and the mother died when Mrs. Hitchcock was but twelve
years of age, after which the family was broken up and she was thrown
on her own resources for a livelihood. She was reared in Morning Sun,
Ohio, and there received her education. Two children, a son and a
daughter, have been born to Mr. and Mrs. Hitchcock, as follows: Fred S.

the "Boy Preacher."...died at age 27, while a Pastor of a church in Toledo, OH.
He married 11 Oct/25 Nov 1847, Irene POPE, a descendant of the Mayflower
POPES. One son, William D, b 1849 in Dover, OH.
