Now, as for Grandpa John Benjamin Eggleton's parents, John Thomas(Francis?) and Eleanor F.(T.?) Dyer-Eggleton, I really don't know much except for him being and 'overseer' and the 1870 Census for Martinsville, shows that he was 'Farm Laborer'. Their children are 1) Thomas D. (married Hattie Anderson[Long??] , 2) Martha 9married John Moore), 3) Joseph M. (died on Ohio River in Cincinnati), 4) Mary E. (married Dyer), 5) James Hughes (married Louise Whitt), 6) Hattie June (m: Fred Lusher), Millard P., George P. (M: Helen West), and Henry S. Eggleton.
