 | Stella DEVIN Williams Collection
Found in a bankers box for the Stella DEVIN [Lalande] Williams & W. P. Williams collection in the Penrose Library Archives at Whitman College in Walla Walla. There was an entire banker's box full of the old portrait photographs with only a few marked as to who they were. Also in the box was a handful of snapshots and few of them were marked. A lot of things belonged to the insurance business owned by Stella's husband and most were his Masonic pictures, articles, etc. Most of the pictures Stella had were unmarked. There were many pictures of her husband who was called Billy. He was a very active member of the Masons. He was an independent insurance agent in Walla Walla and a prominent member of the community. |
