        William C. Gregory never married and had no issue
        William Caleb Gregory joined Company B of the 38th Regiment of Virginia during the Civil War. This company was organized at Callands on 23 May 1861 by Dr. John Roy Cabell, who commanded this company until 10 December 1862. This was part of Armistead's Brigade of Magruders' Corps that fought around Yorktown, Williamsburg and Richmond. He died of wounds he received during the battle of Seven Pines.
