        HENRY REYNOLDS THE IMMIGRANT
Henry Reynolds came from England in 1676, on a voyage of 5-1/2 months duration, and settled in Burlington NJ/ Burlington MM record state "although he was not a member, yet out of tenderness to them and others concerned they were allowed to marry" He was a resident of Marcus Hook, Chichester Twp., Co., PA as early as 5 mo [Jul], 1680, where he probably lived until his death. Henry was on the first jury held under the government of the Proprietary. Henry's father-in-law, William Clayton, was one of nine justices who sat at Upland PA in 1681. There is a tradition that Henry raised corn near Dock Creek, in what is now the city of Philadelphia.
