JNT in an email dated 04.October.1998, says father of Susan Devin's husband is George Beck; a cousin of Philip Beck.

      When Susan died, Andrew had the responsibility of a new born baby, a son, Alexander, eighteen months old, and four young daughters. He must have had help from other family members where they lived at Beck's Mill. Andrew M. Beck remarried two years after Susan died to Rebecca Barker. [JNT email 04.October.1998]. They moved to near Terrell, Kaufman County, Texas in 1854.
