15. | Mary Abigail White was born on 29 Mar 1855 in Auroraville, Waushara, Wisconsin U.S.A. (daughter of Darwin B. White and Olivia Patch); died on 21 Sep 1933 in Houston, Harris, Texas U.S.A.. Notes:
Mary seems to have been enumerated twice in 1900. Once in Wisconsin and once in Indiana. The information, except her middle initial is exactly the same. My speculation is that she was in Indiana for the birth of her granddaughter by Edna. Orpha was born in May 1900 and was enumerated as being 0/12 years old. The Wisconsin enumeration was probably her husband listing her as she was just temporarily out of town.
Notes:
In the 1900 census, there is also the following people living in the James and Mary Dawes household:
++ Delia A. White, b: January 1856 Wisconsin, widow, sister-in-law to James C. Dawes.
++ Francis A. White, b: July 1883 Wisconsin, nephew to James C. Dawes.
++ Harry Dawes, b: November 1883 Wisconsin, nephew to James C. Dawes.
