3. | Frances Smithey-Crisp was born on 01 May 1783 in Caswell County, North Carolina; died on 05 Oct 1849 in Sparta, Buchanan Co., Missouri. Notes:
James & Fanny moved to KY and then to TN about 1800, and on to Missouri in 1819. Many of the descendants of James' son John Warwick still reside in Clay County, Missouri. 8 Jan 1815 James was in the Battle of New Orleans, under General Andrew Jackson. Members of the Sparta Baptist Church James owned seven slaves at the time of his death and requested that they remain in the Reynolds family. Names of the slaves were Joseph, Winkfield, Cady, Soiy, Rososi, Gilbert and George.
Frances Smithey-Crisp's birth was the result of an affair between her mother, Nancy (Carmichael) Smithey, whose husband had been killed in the Revolutionary War and John Crisp, who had been appointed administrator of the estate of Nancy's deceased husband. Frances Smithey-Crisp was bound to Mary Warwick (possibly a sister of Nancy Smithey) in 1788 at the age of 4. In 1786 her brother Reuben Smithey was bound to John Warwick, Mary Warwick's husband. This is undoubtedly the John Warwick for whom Frances named her first son.

8. | Richard Reynolds, Jr. was born in 1669 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia (son of Richard Joshua Reynolds and Elizabeth Sharpe); died on 05 Sep 1754 in King William Co., Virginia. Notes:
Richard Reynolds is said to have been married to Elizabeth Ann Williams and sired no recorded children about 1694.
Then, in 1713 to Mary Anderson
The will of Richard Reynolds, Sr., who married Elizabeth Sharpe, lists Elizabeth Lewis, the daughter of Richard Lewis as follows: 27 Jul 1711, Richard Reynolds, of Newport Parish: Legatees - Wife Elizabeth; son Richard; son Sharpe; son Christopher the land on which Richard Jackson lives; grandson ----Reynolds; what is due Elizabeth Lewis one of the daughters of Richard Lewis to be paid. Executors my wife and sons. Recorded 26 May 1712. Witnesses: Arthur Smith, Giles Driver and Jane Benn (Doc.#132r). Hence, this confirms that the above record refers to Richard Reynolds, Sr., (son of Christopher Reynolds, Sr., the immigrant) and his wife Elizabeth Sharpe with their son, Richard Reynolds, Jr., who married Elizabeth Williams, listed as an overseer with Thomas Joyner, Jr. source: R Stucker.
Richard married Mary Anderson about 1713 in Isle of Wight, VA. Mary (daughter of Robert Anderson, Sr. and Celia Massie) was born in 1672-1680; died in 1725. [Group Sheet]
