  Text	Know all men by these presents that we Robert Devin & Joseph Akin - are held and firmly Bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia in the Sum of fifty pounds of Current Money to which payment [page torn here][is well and] Truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs Exors. and Admrs firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and Dated this 22nd day of Jany. 1791 Whereas there is a Marriage Depending and Suddenly intended by Gods permifsion Between the above Bound Robert Devin   and   Nancy Parrish Now the condition of the above Obligation is Such that if there is no lawful Cause to Obstuct the Said Marriage then the above obligation to be Void or else to Remain in full force & Virtue. Bond witnessed by: William Tunstall, Jr. Consent given by Abram Parrish (father of Nancy) on 23.January.1791 and was witnessed by Joseph Akin.
