Abstract: From a survey dated 17.Nov.1789 granted 236 acres in the County of Pittsylvania on the waters of the Banister River.- Beginning at Brown's corner in Abraham Alling line on Cheriquepui Branch.
- N73E 52 poles along said Alling line to a red oak.
- S18E 92 poles along Mathews line to pointers.
- S 126 poles to a white oak.
- N90E 31 poles to William Esleys corner white oak on Robins Branch.
- S9W 200 poles along the same down the said branch to a white oak corner.
- N30W 272 poles along William Divins lines, formally Leaks, crossing Cherquepui Branch to pointers.
- N70W 64 poles to a spanish oak in said Brown's former line.
- N33E 134 poles along Brown's former lines to a red oak.
- N13E 70 poles to the Beginning.
