News: After 30 years, Devin Timber is being decommissioned! After January 2027, this site will no longer be available. Web hosting costs continue to raise at rates that cannot be sustained on a limited income. In addition, finding volunteer expertise needed to administer the technical side of hosting a site, such as this, is challenging.

A Devin Timber group project has been set up at FamilySearch.org. FamilySearch has the tools and the long experience with collaborative genealogy and is available to everyone without cost. All documents and citations found on the current Devin Timber are being migrated to the records on FamilySearch.

If you have access to Ancestry, a public member tree, named "Devin Progeny," is a copy of the tree on the current Devin Timber. The Devin Progeny tree is being used to help evaluate research accuracy using the DNA samples from descendants of William & Sarah Devin. The Ancestry Devin Progeny tree will not be supported with documentation or citations due to the cost of Ancestry subscriptions.

      4. S87W crossing Bannister River to a Post Oak.
      5. N42W 54 poles to a Red oak.
      6. N23W 50 poles to pointers in William Divens line.
      7. S70E 130 poles along William Divens line crossing a Branch and the River to a white oak.
      8. N21E 260 poles to a Corner in William Cooks line.
      9. N67E 114 poles along William Cooks line to a white oak.
      10. N10W 44 poles to pointers.
      11. S75E 86 poles along James Divens line to the Beginning.
