News: After 30 years, Devin Timber is being decommissioned! After January 2027, this site will no longer be available. Web hosting costs continue to raise at rates that cannot be sustained on a limited income. In addition, finding volunteer expertise needed to administer the technical side of hosting a site, such as this, is challenging.

Text	Land-Office Military Warrant, No. 4432 To the principal SURVEYOR of the Land, set apart for the Officers and Soldiers of the Commonwealth of Virginia. THIS shall be your WARRANT to survey and lay off in one or more surveys, for William Diven his Heirs or Assigns; the Quantity of two hundred Acres of Land, due unto the said William Diven in consideration of his Services for three years as a Serjeant in the Virginia Continantal line agreeably to a Certificate from the Governor and Council, which is received unto the Land-Office.
