News: After 30 years, Devin Timber is being decommissioned! After January 2027, this site will no longer be available. Web hosting costs continue to raise at rates that cannot be sustained on a limited income. Green 52, Martha (Gravitt) 50 {are the parents of Walter Green who is married 28 years old and is represented on the 1880 Census as HH/FAM 251/269}, James 23, Nat F. 20, Robt J. 17, Mary E. 14, Jos. T. 12, Sallie S. 7 (future wife of Hubert Gravitt): Lucy A. WOODY Gravitt is the widow of William James Gravitt; he died in 1865 at the end of the Civil War; by 1880 VA Census she is living next door and adjacent to her husbands family. James A. Green who married Lucy's sister-in-law Martha Gravitt, lives next door with her family and several doors away are Mildred 50, (Sister of William, Lucy's husband and John K. Gravitt, (also William's brother). They are living with another Gravitt brother, whose name is illegible on the 1880 Census.
