My great-grandparents home, a log house in Grady, Va. My mother took the picture on her Brownie camera. Charlie died when I was 7. Ida died when I was 3. I do not remember her. After Ida died, Charlie went to live with Sally Fannie and Jim Reynolds. He ran Grady store until near his death. Charlie died at their home in the front bedroom. I remember him well." Picture was taken threee years before Ida died. |
