His body was sent back and he is buried on the James Samuel (Jim) Reynolds Place which is now the Fredrick Lynn Place on Barn Road, Callands, VA. They were married in 1917 because Charlie Wade Reynolds insisted on it because his little sister was pregnant. Callie was born 18 March 1898 in Pitts Co. VA and died 23, Feb. 1990 in Farmville, Va. She was married to Andrew Throckmorton. Her son by Homer was Roscoe Edward Reynolds B. 18June 1918 D. 13 Dec. 1988 in Farmville, Va."
