  Notes	From "Some Ancestors and Descendants of Samuel Converse, Jr." page 10: "Little is known of George Parkhurst, whose name is sometimes spelled, Parkers, and Parkis. It is not known when he came to America, or whether he brought a wife with him, but he brought at least two children, viz: --George and Phebe who married Thomas Arnold. George Parkhurst, Senior, married about 1645, Susanna, widow of John Simpson of Watertown, and about that time removed to Boston. In 1642 he was proprietor of a homestead of 12 acres, and five other lots orf land in Watertown.
