Jarrel Powell was born March 31, 1834 and lived to the advanced age of 96, dying April 7, 1928. He is buried in a family cemetery along with his wife Mary (who died in 1910), his son James (who died in 1886 at the age of about 24) and a Georganna Powell Winstead (12-14-1900 to 7-15-1930) who I am not familar with. The cemetery is presumably at or near the site in the Cunningham community in Person County where he lived after the Civil War until his death in 1930 ( as shown on the 1870 thru 1920 censuses).
