- Two years after Susan died, Andrew M. Beck married Rebecca Barker on 27.February.1834. In 1854, they took their children, including Parthena, Andrew Jacob, Martha Arilla, Rebecca E. and Isabella Maria, and his other children, John J., Alexander D., virginia, Susan and Sarah and went to College Mound, Kaufman County, Texas and settled near his brother John Jacob Beck, who had gone to the Republic or Texas nine years previously. Most of them are buried in the College Mound (first called Beck Mound) Cemetery. -JNT email 04.October.1998 14:48 & 15:13 hours.
