        Note: Edward was transported to the colonies (Archives of Maryland, Vol X, page 57: Vol LX pp l-l-l02) by a Mrs. Wm. Mitchell and worked out his passage. In 1682 he patented 100 acres of land and on ll Aug 1666, he bought land called "Courts Palace" from John Courts who patented it about 1635. His, probably a second wife and not the mother of his children was Bridgett.
