Such a person would be descended along an all female line from Mary DEVIN Biggers or Margaret DEVIN Reynolds. The hope is to identify the markers for Sarah SMITH Devin to help identify her parents. Devin descendant, Stanley Wayne Devin, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 4, 2014. He was the last living child of Ira & Oleta Devin.

Charles Wesley Wells & Davenport girls (c.Nov. 1958) Quote: "This photo made in Sally Fannie's frontyard. I believe Charlie is 90ish. He looks great! I have fond memories of him. I felt safe near him." Photograph was taken 18 months after his wife Ida died.
Charlie Wesley Wells & Ida Rebecca HANKINS Wells (1954) My great-grandparents home, a log house in Grady, Va. My mother took the picture on her Brownie camera. Charlie died when I was 7. Ida died when I was 3. I do not remember her. After Ida died, Charlie went to live with Sally Fannie and Jim Reynolds. He ran Grady store until near his death. Charlie died at their home in the front bedroom. I remember him well." Picture was taken threee years before Ida died.
