    Know All Men by These Presents, That

    I, Stephen Lalande of Heppner, Morrow County, State of Oregon, being of sound mind and memory, but knowing the uncertainty of this life, do hereby make, publish and delcare this to be my last Will and Testament:

    First. I hereby direct my Executor to pay all my just debts and liabilities.

    Second. I hereby will and bequeath to Dora Hart the large picture of my former wife, Elizabeth.

    Third. I hereby will and bequeat to my son Albert Lalande all my trunks and their contents, and my watch and forbs.

    Fourth. I hereby will and bequeath to James Deven the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00).

    Fifth. I hereby will and bequeath to Stella Deven, the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00).

    Sixth. I hereby will and bequeath to Belel Lalande, my beloved wife, an undivided one half right, title and interest in and to all of my real property, in lieu of her dower in and to said property.

    Seventh. All the balance and residue of my property, both real and personal, I hereby will and bequeath to Ruth D. Lalande and Albert Lalande, my children, equally each to share and share alike.

    I hereby constitute and appoint Robert Hart sole executor of this my last Will and Testament, and I hereby order and direct that the said Robert Hart shall not be required to give any bond of any kind, for the faithful or other performance of said trust.

    In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, in the present of two witnesses and declare to be my last Will and Testatment, this 10th day of April A.D. 1900.

    On this 10th day of April, 1900, Stephen Lalande, of Heppner, Morrow County, State of Oregon signed the foregoing instrument in our presence, declaring it to be his last Will and Testament, and at his request, and as Witnesses thereto, we two do now, in his presence, and in the presence of each other, hereto subscribe our names.
