      • Pryor Reynolds A Traveling Family: by Donna A. Stowe James T. Reynolds b. on 14 Aug 1816 in Lawrence Co., Alabama. He married first Susan M. Fewell on 15 Nov 1844, second to Elizabeth F. Smith on 24 Jan 1856 and third to Eleanor Gosnell on 27 Jun 1860. James T. lived south of Madison, NC on the William Fewell homeplace. He was a farmer and served in the General Assembly prior to the Civil War. James T. died in Rockingham Co., on 15 Jan 1904.

He then moved to Lawrence County, Alabama, where he resided until 1827, when he moved to Rockingham County, NC. near his childhood home. Two children, Elizabeth and Martha died in childhood. Pryor lived near the town of Draper, where he died 5 Oct 1858. He was buried in the family graveyard, alongside his wife Prudence. Pryor's name is (Catherine Pryor) his grandmother's maiden name.
