It should be William Green Carter Jr. Went by W.G. born June 28 1912 in Alton Va. Died Nov. 1 1965. Buried Olive Branch Methodist Cemetery. Buried beside his parents William Green Carter Sr. And Mary Elizabeth Powell. Married to Eldress Dorthey Farmer on March 2, 1938. William and Eldress are my grandparents. My mothers parents. Papa William died the day after my Birthday when I was 2 years old. So I don't remember him just seen pictures. My sister and I have recently started working on the Carter side of our family.And like I said your website has helped very much. Have any questions feel free to ask.
