Nancy and Berryman were married on Nov. 16, 1829 with neighbor Noton Jefferson as surety. On 18 Jun 1838, Joseph Reynolds, Sr. sells 50 acres on both sides of Buckhorn Branch of the Tomahaowk to Berryman--"it being the land on which Berryman Reynolds now resides" (DB 41/325) Berryman died before 1850, leaving Nancy with six children to raise.
