All through the census years of 1860-1880, the three children lived together, never marrying. However, Jame Jefferson died 5 Apr 1885 (death record). Possibly Thomas had died since the 1880 census, for on 8 April 1886, John Ball Jefferson at the age of 75 (SEVENTY-FIVE) married Henrietta Owen, who was TWENTY-TWO years old, (d/o Coleman Bird and Elizabeth Wright Owen) They had two sons, John Coleman Jefferson and Thomas Jefferson about whom nothing more is known.
